Student Clubs are a great way to get involved in Nellie N. Coffman Middle School.  By joining a club, students will gain a much more rewarding and enriched middle school experience.  Below is a list of clubs and purposes.  Some clubs will link to a new page that includes club information beyond that description.

Associated Student Body (ASB / Student Council) - elected / selected, student representative organization that organizes, coordinates, and provides activities and events to all students and clubs at NNC.

Christian Club - bringing together students of similar backgrounds for support, camaraderie, and fellowship.

Dance Team - performance club enhancing school spirit.

Debate Club - NEW Club - teaching / learning debate and debate competitions.

Drama Club - performing arts and productions.

Library Club - support for new books, subscriptions, and student services.

Life Skills Club - extended education and opportunities in the real world.

Physical Education Club - providing additional athletic opportunities.

Science Club - sciences and hands-on field trip activities (Astro-Camp, etc.)

Yearbook Club - development of the school yearbook.

Clubs Overseen by ASB

Student Store - operated by the Student Council, this organization sells school supplies, dance tickets, and yearbooks.

Study Skills - A division of the student council whose purpose is to provide opportunities for effective studying and reward students for academic accomplishments.

Grade Level Clubs - These are grade specific groups organized by student representatives whose purpose is to coordinate and facilitate grade level events, including the end of the year trip for 8th graders.
