Ms. Kristen Yoder

Ms. Yoder - 6th Grade Social Studies

Kristin Yoder was born and raised in Alta Loma, California. Ever since the age of 3, Miss Yoder knew that her calling in life was to become a teacher. After high school, Miss Yoder attended San Diego State University where she was active in organizations such as the College of Education Advisory Board, Associated Students, Disabled Student Services Advisory board, and Alpha Phi Sorority. She was named Greek Woman of the Year and was elected to Homecoming Court for her achievements. Miss Yoder enjoys traveling, fishing, and participating in almost all athletic activities.

Miss Yoder has a wonderful, supportive family whom she is very close to. This includes two great parents, two wonderful sets of grandparents (her surviving grandmother is 92 years old!), lots and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins and one very special boyfriend who has put with her for many years (not an easy feat).

Ms. Yoder is very excited to be teaching at James Workman Middle School, and is constantly impressed with the kindness and courtesy that both the students and staff have extended towards her. Go Bighorns!
