Mr. Travis
Mr. Rob Travis-7th Grade Math
Mr. Travis joined us at James Workman Middle School in 2005. He was born and raised in beautiful Southeast Alaska and graduated college from Eastern Washington University in Spokane, Washington. Mr. Travis recently achieved a Masters degree from Cal State University in the area of Educational Administration, which he may pursue one day soon. He enjoys being outdoors, beating his dad at cribbage, and plays golf weekly. During his time off from school you can find him back home hiking/camping in Alaska or up relaxing in the mountains of Washington at his parent’s ranch.
Ms. Robin Kener
Mrs. Robin Kener-7th Grade Language Arts
My name is Robin Kener and I am from Buffalo, New York. I moved here with
2 of my children Megan and Jay. My oldest Bridget decided to stay in
New York to finish college. We are all the loving the sunshine. I enjoy
fishing, sewing, scrap booking, and of course reading. I have always
loved to read and hope to share that with my students.
Mrs. Julie Cloud - 7th Grade Social Studies
I have been a teacher at James Workman for many years. I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. That is a long way from here. I graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. My degree is in Social Studies. I have one sister and the rest of my family is still in Indianapolis. I have a husband named Troy who I spend most of my spare time with. Chelsey Traylor- 7th Grade Science
I am a Southern California girl at heart - born and raised in Chino Hills, Ca. I graduated from UC Irvine in 2008 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a B.A. in Criminology - Go Anteaters! I started my first year of teaching at Canyon Lake Middle School in Lake Elsinore. Currently, I reside in Desert Hot Springs with my two year old Pitbull, Diesel. I enjoy reading, running, and going to concerts.
