Grade Social Studies |
I'm Mr. Faddis and this is my 1st year teaching 7th grade World History.
I graduated from Cal Poly- San Luis Obispo with a Finance degree and
an Economics minor. I took many History classes in college and love all
the interesting places we get to study. I worked in the Financial industry
after college and realized that my long hours and meaningless relationships
were not how I wanted to spend the rest of my life, so I went into teaching
to positively affect our youth( I know it sounds cliché, but it's
true). I have a beautiful wife and healthy 14 month old son, they are
who I spend most of my time with. When I am not at school I am on the
golf course, fishing, hanging out with family and friends or reading.
I grew up in Murrieta, Ca, and I am lucky to have all my family located
in Southern California. I am glad to be at James Workman and have been
impressed with the dedication of our staff, administration, and abilities
of the students. Let's have a great year. Go Bighorns!! |

My
name is Mrs. Ramirez, I was born in Canada to Arab immigrants. I
moved to Los Angeles when I was 10 and spent the next 10 years in
L. A., Orange, and San Bernardino Counties. I moved to the
desert about seven years ago to take a position in T. V. broadcasting
-- that is what I studied -- but realized I belong in the classroom
and went back to school to get my degree in Literature and work on
a teaching credential; I graduated from the University of Redlands. I
love school and literature so I am thrilled to be in school teaching
literature. My husband and I have two small children who keep
us running. We enjoy bike riding, riding roller blades, swimming
and the park. I also love to read when I find time. I
love teaching and am happy to be part of a fantastic team here at
JWMS.

Ms.
Ortega
7th
Grade Mathematics
|
This
is my third year at JWMS and I love it!!! I am teaching both 7th and
8th grade Math. The students and the staff here have been great to work
with. I graduated from Cal State San Bernardino, with a degree in Liberal
Studies and a Concentration in Mathematics. I then received my Teaching
Credentials at the University of Red lands. When I am not teaching I
am with my two kids. Ryan is 18, he enjoys playing guitar and writing
music. Aaron who is 10, likes sports and video games. I spent four years
working at College of the Desert as an Instructional Support Assistant
in the Math Department. I enjoyed working with students right out of
High School but am very excited about the change to middle school!!! |

Jimenez

Grade Science

My
name is Jorge Jimenez. This is my twelfth year teaching middle school
and the second year at JWMS. I was born in Puerto Rico and am from
a big family of 8 children. I enjoy restoring old cars and I collect
and display toy cars in my classroom. I enjoy teaching 7th grade Science
at Workman. In my other life I am a lawyer and graduated from Pennsylvania
University. I have one dog, a black lab named Dakota. |
