Ice Sculpting!

Cafe Ramon is proposed as a new specialty program within Alternative Education. Geared toward thirty 9th graders beginning in 2006-2007, the program would help to build the skills needed for the highly competitive Culinary Arts job market.
The program would place these students with a group of teachers that would present the board-approved curriculum integrated with the California Standards for Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation Cluster pathways and the Culinary Arts. The program would span Opportunity to College of the Desert programs to allow each student to progress through their academic courses while working toward a capstone course, internships, or post secondary training.
