Hi, my name is Mrs. Martin. I am originally from Portland, Oregon. I went to Oregon State University for my under graduate studies and received my Masters degree from Boston College. I decided to become a teacher because I enjoy working with kids... it helps keep me young! One of my most embarrassing moments during class occurred during my first year of teaching at Bubbling Wells Elementary. My dad and cousin decided to come to my school and stand outside my classroom making funny faces at me while I was teaching. I turned beet red in front of my fifth graders!

My name is Mindy Zimmerman. This is my fifth year teaching at James Workman Middle School as a sixth grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. In my spare time, I love to travel, hike, mountain bike, and sometimes, I like to just sit back and relax in the cool mountain air (far away from the desert heat!). I love to read, especially historical fiction, although there never seems to be enough time. Most of my time is spent with my husband and daughter and my two very sweet dogs, Draven and Conrad.
