Before your child can start school:
Before your child can start 7, 8 or 9 grade at any school in California in
August 2011, they must have received a TDap (Whooping Cough) booster
vaccination. Your son/daughter will not receive their schedule and will not be able to start
school if they do not have this on their immunization record.

All students between the grades 7th to 12th need proof of a Tdap booster shot. If no
proof is provided, the student will not be allowed to start school until the immunization
card is shown to school personnel.

James
Workman Middle School is located in Cathedral City serving the north
side of Cathedral City and a small population of Palm Springs students.
As one of the four middle schools in the Palm Springs Unified School
District, James Workman serves approximately 1,550 students in grades
six through eight.
