Mr. Martinez - 6th Grade Language Arts, Social Studies and Exploratory!
Hi, I am Eddie Martinez. I have been teaching at JWMS since the 2006-07 school year after moving to the Coachella Valley from Los Angeles. I graduated from UCLA in 1998 and began teaching in 2000. Since then, I have received my teaching credential as well as a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Design. I look forward to entering my classroom everyday because I am excited about seeing my students collaborate and learn. Teaching is a great profession because everyday is different and you never know what students are going to say or do.
Away from school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have two little boys that keep my wife and me running around. We like watching movies, playing at the park, and going to baseball games. We are avid Angels and Lakers fans and you’ll always find me wanting to talk about them.
