Mr. Powell teaches 7th grade math here at Desert Springs Middle School.
I began teaching at DSMS in February of 1997. Previously I was a resident of Washington and Northern California. I have more than twenty years in the teaching profession and ten years in sales. I was born and raised in Redding, Sacramento, and Placerville, California. I have three gown children ages twenty-two, twenty-six, and twenty-eight. My wife Deborah and I have been married for thirty years. My main avocation is my church - Desert Springs Church in Palm Desert. My hobbies are gold, fishing, and choral singing.
