Mr. Kauffman teaches 7th grade language arts here at Desert Springs Middle School.
I presently teach Language Arts. I love language and I try to instill that love into students, or at least pass it along by constant modeling. Words free people up. Language is a gift. Better communication solves all problems before they start. Our students need language in the worst way. Give me any book, any methodology, any system - my curriculum remains language. It's what needs to be taught beyond the teaching. I have been married to my wife Lou Ann for twenty-seven years and have three children. Max who is twenty-four, Zach who is twenty-one, and Margaret who is eighteen.
I love baseball, dogs, and God, although not in that order.
