Off Road Club

On alternate Fridays during all three lunches the Counseling Center hosts the Off Road Club. This is a club for students interested in motorcycles, quads, dune buggies, bicycles and go-carts. Both two-stroke and four-stroke motorcycle engines are available for disassembly, allowing participants to learn the basic principles of the internal combustion engine. The Off Road Club also has a solar assisted electric go-cart, which the students drive once a month. This vehicle affords the Off Road Club members many opportunities to learn about electric motors, photo voltaic cells, alternative fuels, aerodynamics, basic transportation technology, maintenance and safety. The DSMS Off Road Club promotes safe and responsible off road activities. There are no dues, fees or requirements to join the Off Road Club.
