Rosa Loughnane is originally from Brooklyn, New York. It was there that she received her BA in Studio Art and her MA in Art Teaching, both with minors in photography. Her Photographs have been shown in various NY Galleries. Rosa taught art at the elementary and middle school level in the Brooklyn area. She moved to the desert in June of 2002 with her husband, and soon after joined the art team at DHSHS. They live with their son and two dogs.

Amanda Troolines was born and raised in Michigan, the Detroit area. She received her BA in Painting/Drawing and secondary Art Education from La Grange College in La Grange, Georgia. Amanda also has an MFA in Visual Arts from Vermont College of the Union Institute and University in Montpelier, Vermont. Amanda has been teaching Art and Photography at DHSHS since 2000.

Timothy Downey was born in Brutte, Montana. He attended the local schools while he resided there. He studied at the Western Montana College of Education. His Major was Art and Industrial Arts. He received a Masters in Art Education from the University of Oregon; part of his education from the University of Oregon took place in Japan as part of the same University. He began teaching and has taught for 34 years: 1 in Alaska, 10 in Oregon, 21 in Montana and 2 years so far here at DHS. When he taught in Montana, he was part of the Bray Foundation of Ceramic Arts. He was also a Track coach for Pole Vaulting for 23 years in Montana and Oregon
